The Panthers are trading star running back Christian McCaffrey to the San Francisco 49ers in exchange for draft picks, sources told ESPN.

If they were smart they would have traded Burns CMC Darnold Anderson last year when the draft was ripe with teams who would Over pay for few of them. GB KC PHI Bal Were loaded with draft capital multiple 1 2 3 4th round picks. Burns and CMC would brought a premium especially with those in win mode now teams

And not taking baker also. Tank with Pj. Secure a great pick. Use all the draft capital and rebuild. They blew so much draft capital past two years it’s stupid. Darnold Gilmore Baker Teddy Two Gloves CJ all sorts of silly moves crushed their draft capital past two years

He will probably play a little bit. Primarily in the red zone

CMC is an ideal fit for the offense, so there's that.

Now i need to figure out whether to start him or not. I'm leaning towards sitting him as i have other RB's i could start.

Also sucks having him on my fantasy team now since i'm rooting against SF for the dolphins draft pick next year

You knew he was gonna get moved but I really like this for jimmy g he has a great safety valve check down and opens up the pass action for him where he’s more effective

Very interested to see how he is used in that run game with that coach in San Fran. I think it will be creative and effective given that coach's ability to draw up run plays. He went to the perfect team. Now can he stay healthy.

49ers get back Trent Williams and a couple other key players this week on top of the trade. I think this is going to be a very good game. I wouldn't bet either side. Just going to kick back and enjoy. I can see 49ers winning this game, but I don't bet against Mahomes.
